Rianette has been happily married for 19 years and is a proud mom to a teenage boy. She will pack her suitcase to board a plane and explore more remarkable places around the world any day of the week and she loves fresh flowers.
Rianette has dedicated a decade of her life to creating awareness for cyber wellness and online safety while assisting cybercrime victims. As part of her mission to save lives,she encouraged her audiences to take control of their digital habits. Rianette founded SaveTNet Cyber Safety, is a Brand SOUTH AFRICA Play Your Part Ambassador, author, TV and podcast presenter and digital parenting expert. Rianette was the Marketing Manager at the Film and Publication Board and has extensive experience as Communications expert.
As a speaker she has spoken to global audiences and presented in person and online to audiences such as TEDx, the Global Leadership Summit, Campus Party International and META’s Youth Summit. A highlight moment was being featured in the international documentary film, “Public Figure”. In her book “Maak jou kind skermslim” (Raising a SCREEN SAVVY Child), Rianette empowers families to become responsible digital citizens. Rianette has won numerous awards such as the ‘Women of Wonder Award 2020” and finalist for Fairlady & Santam Woman of the Future Award 2018.
