South Africa was introduced to Mudarikwa when she joined Showmax’s hit reality show ‘The Mommy Club,’ where her candid personality and strong sense of identity resonated with viewers.

Since leaving the show, she has returned to focusing on her business venture, NuLu Events & Celebrations, a floral and event décor company, while continuing to share glimpses of her personal life with her growing audience online.

Nunurai’s recent baby shower, themed Baby in Bloom, was filled with spring florals, butterflies and laughter. It symbolised not just waiting to meet her son, but also the start of a new chapter. Today, Nunurai is embracing life as a proud mom of two boys, while adjusting to the realities of parenting.

She admits that being a mother of two feels “serious” and at times overwhelming, but she also shares how happy she is to see her eldest son become a big brother.

Congratulations on welcoming your second baby. How has this new chapter of motherhood been for you so far?

I am excited and truly feel blessed to be a mom of two. It makes me feel like I’ve stepped into a more mature chapter.

If you could describe this new chapter of your life in a few words, what would they be?

Spiritual growth and purpose. I have grown, my family has grown, my business is growing and I am working on my spiritual growth. I can sum it up by saying all of this has helped me find my purpose in life.

When did your little one arrive and what was that moment like for you?

He was born in Toronto, Canada, on March 13, 2026. Holding him for the first time felt miraculous for a moment; I couldn’t believe it was real. Because I had faced a health scare leading up to the birth and there were complications, I was emotional and grateful.

What health scare did you experience during your pregnancy and delivery?

My pregnancy went past the due date, and the baby was quite big, so I went in for an induction. During the induction process, the baby went into distress and passed meconium, which is considered a medical concern. Because of that, the doctors had to quickly perform an emergency C-section to safely deliver the baby.

How has the experience of expanding your family been for you?

The transition has been good, but a little bit overwhelming. Becoming a mom of two makes me feel grown‑up; it’s a role that feels more serious.

How is your eldest son adjusting to becoming a big brother?

He loves being a big brother. He calls his little brother ‘my baby.’

As a businesswoman, how are you managing to balance motherhood with your career now?

I am working to find balance. Over the past month, I have had to slow down with my business, and now I am gradually adjusting to a new routine.

What helps you manage everything behind the scenes?

I’m very focused on delegating right now, and my team has been carrying me through with incredible support.

What emotions stand out most for you in this new chapter?

I am a ball of emotions every day just looking at my baby. When I first held him, I just started crying. This chapter is testing my capabilities, my patience, my everything. It’s showing me how strong I am, trying to run a household, balance being a mother of two and being a businesswoman. I’ve come to the realisation that I need to balance my life better, or else I won’t manage.

Life has changed since your time on The Mommy Club. How has your life been since leaving the show?

Life since leaving the show has been good. I went back to being a full-time businesswoman, but now with the fame and all the fan love.

Do you ever miss the experience of being on reality TV and is returning to that world something you would seriously consider?

Sometimes I do miss it. Despite the drama, I had fun shooting the show. I would consider going back, but not full-time.

How did the show impact your personal life and business?

The Mommy Club gave me exposure. Many people know me now and it’s not just in South Africa. The show helped expand my client base and I’m grateful for the loyal customers who still stand behind my business. My advice is to strive for balance between being a mother and a businesswoman. Don’t feel you need to abandon your business completely because you’ve become a mother and don’t neglect your children in pursuit of business success. It’s about finding harmony, continuing to build your career, making money and at the same time staying grounded and present for your family.

What are you most excited about for the future?

I have big plans. We are growing the business, and the future is bright. As for my personal life, I’m focused on raising my kids and making them into quality human beings.

What has been the biggest lesson life has taught you?

The biggest lesson is that we need to work hard and take up space as women. After all has been said and done, through all the phases, the biggest lesson is that you need to have something going. You need your own as a woman.
