BabyYumYum’s Breastfeeding workshop not only gave attendees all the info they needed for a successful breastfeeding journey, but also helped cement brands that care about consumer’s choices.

BabyYumYum.co.za, the leading parenting resource platform, hosted an inspiring and empowering breastfeeding workshop on Saturday, 22nd July at the Houghton hotel, JHB. The event successfully catered to both in-person and online attendees, drawing a diverse audience of moms and moms-to-be (as well as a few dads) who came together to learn, share experiences, and strengthen their breastfeeding journey.

The workshop featured an outstanding panel of speakers, each renowned in their field, who shared valuable insights and knowledge. The esteemed line-up included well respected experts including to cover topics ranging from the miracles of breastfeeding, latching and the correct breastfeeding for success positions, allergies, rights within the workplace for breastfeeding moms and even the right bra and clothing to wear when breastfeeding and post-partum. Together, these speakers provided comprehensive guidance and answered questions from the eager audience.

The attendees were treated to not only insightful discussions but also a delightful music, performance thanks to the presence of celebrity Will Rayz (SA’s Got Talent finalist), who entertained guests. Both the online and in person event were sold out–over 450 tickets sold —-proving a huge demand for events covering breastfeeding.

Lucky delegates, both in-person and online, were rewarded with fantastic prizes from esteemed baby brands, whilst every in-person guest walked away a winner with an overflowing goodie bag.

The in- person workshop provided a valuable opportunity for well-known brands including Medela, Lansinoh, Bepanthen, Carmien Tea and Annique Rooibos skin products to exhibit and demonstrate their products to this audience of expectant and first time (or repeat) parents.

The event’s attendance was encouraging, with moms (holding their adorable babies) participating with eagerness and passion. The connection and support among attendees illustrated the strength of the breastfeeding community, proving that no mother embarks on her breastfeeding journey alone.
