At BabyYumYum.com, we believe that real impact begins with meaningful action. This Mandela Month, we embraced the spirit of service by dedicating our time and resources to causes close to our hearts.
To honour Mandela Day on 18 July, our team spent 67 minutes (and more) at Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services in Fairvale, Johannesburg. We rolled up our sleeves, bringing some sparkle through cleaning, creativity and most importantly, connecting with the incredible children in their care. It was a moment of reflection, joy and working together as a community.
Earlier in the month, we supported a different kind of community that is a little closer to our office: the one with whiskers. BabyYumYum.com made a financial contribution to a feral cats organisation to help feed and keep these forgotten felines safe and warm this winter.
For us, Mandela Month wasn’t just about honouring his legacy; it was also about living it. At our core, BabyYumYum.com is not only about shaping conversations around parenting and wellness, but we’re also a media brand that leads with heart and action.
