By now, you may feel slightly more familiar with your baby, but your newborn baby week 2 can still bring plenty of surprises. Feeding may start to feel more established, although cluster feeding and unsettled periods are still very normal. You might notice your baby becoming a little more alert, with longer wake windows and brief moments of eye contact. At the same time, sleep can remain unpredictable, and your own recovery is still very much in progress. Each day brings small changes that slowly build your confidence and connection.
