Thula Touch is a specialised infant massage therapy service founded by Candice Moodeliar, South Africa’s only IMIS-certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI-Aus). Combining ancient healing traditions with modern, research-backed benefits, Thula Touch focuses on nurturing the parent–child bond, supporting infant development and promoting maternal and paternal mental wellbeing. Through gentle therapeutic touch, the service helps babies reach developmental milestones while supporting digestive, respiratory and circulatory health and equipping parents with lifelong soothing and bonding skills. Thula Touch welcomes expectant parents, new parents, grandparents, caregivers, adoptive families and those caring for premature or special needs babies, including children with Down syndrome, ASD, ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions. Through workshops, private sessions, virtual programmes and partnerships with NGOs and baby homes, Thula Touch supports families from all walks of life. Its mission is to change the world one baby at a time through nurturing touch and empowered parenting.
