Dr Alicia Porter
Specialist Psychiatrist
Dr Alicia Porter is a Specialist Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, now practising privately at the ADDNOVA Centre for Child and Family Development in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg. Formerly the clinical head of the child and family unit at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, she also serves as an honorary lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr Porter completed her medical degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2002 and qualified as a psychiatrist through the College of Medicine of South Africa in 2010. She holds a Diploma in Human Rights, Mental Health and Law from the Indian Law College in Pune, earned in 2019. She previously ran a private practice at St Augustine’s in Durban.
Dr Jenny Rose
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Jenny Rose is a Clinical Psychologist, parent-child expert and mother with 14 years of experience in the field. She holds a PhD in parent-child attachment and specialises in working with children and adolescents, offering therapeutic support tailored to each case using both non-directive and structured approaches. Dr Rose also provides psychotherapy for adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship issues, and offers couples counselling. In addition to her private practice, she lectures at two local universities, training clinical master’s students. Passionate about making psychological knowledge accessible, she is dedicated to equipping parents with practical tools and strategies to help raise secure, resilient and confident children in today’s world.
Kath Megaw RD (SA)
Clinical Paediatric Dietitian & Founder of Nutripaeds
Kath Megaw RD (SA) is a Clinical Paediatric Dietitian and the Founder of Nutripaeds, with a special interest in infant and childhood nutrition. With years of experience in private practice, Kath supports young patients with their nutritional needs while guiding and empowering parents through the process. She is passionate about helping families navigate feeding challenges and establish healthy eating habits from the start. Kath regularly runs workshops focused on infant and child nutrition, sharing her expert knowledge in an accessible and supportive way. As a respected author and thought leader in the field, she is dedicated to promoting the importance of nutrition in early development and ensuring children thrive through informed, evidence-based dietary guidance.
Naledi Mokoena
Educational Psychologist
Naledi Mokoena is an Educational Psychologist and the lead psychologist at Leeto, where she combines her passion for human connection and development with expert guidance to support children and young adults in reaching their full potential. She specialises in areas such as grief, identity and neurodiversity, including autism spectrum disorders. Naledi also works as a researcher, focusing on how children with autism are affected by their environments. At Leeto, she leads a team of young, compassionate professionals, each bringing unique insights and skills to the practice. Together, they provide tailored support for children, young adults and parents, helping them navigate life’s complexities with care, understanding and a commitment to emotional and developmental wellbeing.

Tamra Jones and Jules Belasyse-Smith are the founders of The Neuroverse, a supportive South African community for parents raising neurodivergent children. Tamra, a Registered Psychological Counsellor with over 10 years of experience in both private and clinical settings, brings deep therapeutic insight, while Jules adds her expertise as a marketing professional and entrepreneur.
